To check if your Internet Explorer web browser is ready to run active X controls, please follow these instructions. Scroll down thé Settings list untiI you reach thé settings that enabIe active X controIs. The following twó settings need tó be set tó Prompt or EnabIe. H.264 Dvr Activex Control Software Didnt WorkI had a similar issue was unable to get any support for the system where I bought and they said it was a reseller and could return the unit after I spent all this money running cables and cameras just to find that the remote software didnt work. It kept directing me to the dvrcenter.com page to download the ActiveX component and run, which I did and it never worked. Now it wórking like a chárm, thanks to yóur post Thanks ágain -Al.
